Limerick 2030: What is the Future of our City?
Join us on to learn about Limerick’s 2030 plans and how these changes can be set in their historical context. Each evening a different aspect of Limerick’s built heritage – public spaces, architecture, public sculptures, city block and the architecturally significant Georgian Quarter will be examined and their historical evolution, significance and value today will be discussed. Sources too – documents and images – will be discussed; how they can be used in writing history and understanding the present. Discussion will revolve around future plans and hopes for our city, and will focus on particular current issues.
